This industry-first unique PoE-powered switch gets its power from the Ethernet cable of any 802.3af compliant PoE switch or PoE injector. It operates as a PoE switch and extends cable runs an additional 100 meters without requiring its own local "wall-wart" power supply. It will also rebroadcast up to 10 Watts across four ports to other PoE-powered devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points. The compact size of POEmax (8 ports in 5.5" x 1.25" x 3") and its silver-aluminum case make it perfect for cubicles or ceiling drops where space and power outlets are in short supply. POEmax won't slide off a desk either due to its "non-skid" legs. Rear cable installation keeps everything clean. The product carries a one year warranty.
